DROP-IN

Our drop-in service provides a safe, non-judgemental space for our clients in a social setting. For many people this is the first point of contact with the service and it can often be the starting point for someone to address their substance misuse.

No appointment is necessary.

We run weekly groups for men and women:

The men’s social group is a safe space to socialise with others in recovery within the community. The men’s social group runs on Thursdays from 5.00-6.30pm in our Bluebell service.

The women’s group explores a healthier way of life through holistic practices, including mindfulness, reiki, and by creating meaningful connections. The women’s group runs on Fridays from 10am to 12pm in our Inchicore service.

12 week stabilisation programme

12 Week Stablisation Programme

Frontline’s 12 week psycho-educational stabilisation programme – Connections – runs twice yearly. The programme is aimed at individuals in recovery from substance misuse or who are motivated to change their substance use. It focuses on four key areas of development: Stabilisation, Health (Personal & Mental), Personal Development and Progression & Choices.

Participants have weekly one-to-one check-ins to support them through the 12 weeks and to also identify their next steps upon completion of the programme. This may involve starting a CE Programme, returning to education or employment or a referral into treatment.

The Connections Programme is based in our Bluebell, Dublin 12 office. It can be accessed by anybody living in the Dublin area. If you are interested in taking part please fill in the online contact form or call us on 01-4736502.

Addiction Support Group

Our 8 week Addiction Support Programme is aimed at individuals who want to make change around their addiction. Through a series of psycho-educational workshops focusing on addiction and its related complications, a safe space is created for participants to form a support group. Through this, participants share their experiences and allow self-development through the use of art as a therapeutic approach.

The level of change is dependent on the individual; such as wanting to stabilise or focus on harm reduction; to engaging in a community detox or residential treatment. Others might be looking to move into recovery or to make progression in their professional and personal lives.

The programme is based in our Bluebell, Dublin 12 office and runs once a year on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings. It can be accessed by anybody living in the Dublin area. If you are interested in taking part please fill in our online contact form or call us on 01-4736502.

SMART RECOVERY GROUP

SMART stands for Self-Management and Recovery Training and is a global community-based programme that helps individuals recover from addictive behaviors. It uses evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, emphasising self-empowerment and self-reliance.
